An art gallery presents a range of carefully selected, distinctive works. Galerie Galuchat operates on exactly the same principle – the transformation of everyday objects into works of art.

We have set out to give shagreen the revival it deserves. Since its trailblazing days in the Art Deco period, shagreen gradually went out of fashion. Our Gallery ushers in shagreen’s comeback with a line of fine leather goods.

Galerie Galuchat was founded in 2011 by a family with recognized skill in working this material. Our cases are the fruit of Jean Perfettini’s know-how and the talent of his son Raphael Perfettini. Their shared determination to create an elegant and useful product led them to these small items made to last and bring new sparkle to everyday life. It took two years of travel around the world to find the best skins, design case prototypes and to select the best workshops.
